Why SEO is not used more in SMEs

For a long time since the Internet emerged , thousands of businesses had the opportunity to take advantage of the fact that few companies had a presence on the Internet and, when doing a search in their area, the user would find them quickly.

Why SMEs don't use SEO
Perhaps the fact that SEO in SMEs is not more used  is due to a variety of preconceived notions or prejudices about this discipline. For example, SEO is thought to be a practice full of spammers and fraudulent people. With this idea, many small companies do not do SEO for fear of seeing their reputation damaged.

And speaking of traditional advertising, it is still an effective technique for many SMEs. Using billboards, radio, newspapers, local TV stations, among others, is still relevant. Traditional advertising is also easier to plan, execute, and understand than SEO.




What can SMEs do?
