Car won't start on 4 occassions

HI,
Anyone had problems with the car starting? On 4 occassions now after a brief stop no more than an hour the car won't start. No ticking over or anything. I have to keep pressing the start stop button with my foot of the brake pedal To activate the fuel pump without starting the car. That's how it was explained on the first occassions the AA came out. I have a jaguar xe r sport 180 diesel.

Please help.
