波士顿西蒙斯大学惊现数声枪响,警方调查后发现……

　　10月4日下午，一名西蒙斯大学的学生听到了类似枪声的声音后报警，校方迅速做出反应，学校和附近学校立即进入封锁状态，警方出动警力搜查枪手。




下午2点30分，警方接到西蒙斯大学电话，宣称其管理学院一名学生报告说听到了一些枪响，像是有人在开枪。
下午2点38分，波士顿警察被派往芬威300区丶马萨特丶西蒙斯和伊曼纽尔等地采取安全措施，封锁校园和街道。
西蒙斯大学的学生们收到了一条来自校方的短信，上面写着：
"Active threat on campus. If on campus, barricade door & hide. Avoid windows. Run, if option. Avoid campus. Wait for instructions."



校园现在存在威胁。如果你在校园内，请选择路障躲藏。避免暴露在窗户口，如果必要的 话，请逃离。远离校园，等待指示。
有学生称，“当我们得到这个信息时，我正在多元文化中心。我们把椅子推到门前，藏在会议室里。”



许多学生在流泪的时候给父母打电话丶发短信。学生们也被要求离开西蒙斯大楼，排成单行。






伊曼纽尔学院(Emmanuel College)和温索尔学院(Winsor School of)也发布了一份临时安置令。
波士顿警方和全副武装的特警队正在校园扫荡。
有许多警车，包括至少一辆装甲车。
紧急预防措施持续了大约30分钟。

西蒙斯大学在下午3点20分左右宣布了封锁解除。
他们很感激政府对这一警告的迅速回应，并在推特上写道:“感谢社区里所有在事件发生时与执法部门合作的人。我们知道这是一个紧张的时刻，但你的理解是非常值得感谢的。”







据警方表示，这些枪响仅仅是因为一些气球爆裂，是校园内组织活动的一部分。
