圣塔克拉拉县出现今年第一例流感死亡病例

【侨报讯】11月16日，圣塔克拉拉县公共卫生部门（The Santa Clara County Public Health Department）公布该县今年第一例65岁以下成人流感死亡病例。
圣塔克拉拉县卫生官员表示，该流感病患于本月初不幸死亡。当局表示，死者生前没有注射今年的流感疫苗，同时身患其他疾病，这大大增加流感对其身体的威胁。根据规定，加州65岁以下因流感死亡的病例必须上报至加州卫生厅。不过加州医疗隐私法规定，禁止公开病患任何其他有关个人的识别细节，如年龄、种族、性别。圣塔克拉拉县公共卫生官员称，今年的流感季以来，还没有接到其他严重流感病例报告。
流感是由流感病毒引起的传染性呼吸系统疾病。其症状常与普通感冒相似，但通常更严重。流感的常见症状包括：发烧或感觉发烧、咳嗽、喉咙痛、流鼻涕或鼻塞，寒战、疲劳、全身酸痛。儿童或有恶心、呕吐或腹泻症状出现。
在美国，12月和4月之间通常是流感高发时期，疫情可能持续到5月。专家强调，接种流感疫苗是预防流感的最佳措施，尤其对于孕妇，儿童，患有心脏病、哮喘、糖尿病的体弱者来说，接种流感疫苗尤为重要。卫生部门提醒广大民众，在流感大规模扩散前，尽早接种流感疫苗，以防止疾病传染。

生病时在家养病，尽量不要外出，完全康复24小时候方可外出
咳嗽或打喷嚏时用纸巾覆盖口鼻，不要乱扔用过的纸巾
用肥皂和温水洗手，或用含有酒精的洗手液杀菌
避免触摸眼睛和口鼻
