在美国考驾照竟这么容易？一位留学生的考照故事

笔者最近刚刚回国，因为种种原因，美国驾照过期，需要从新考。于是就踏上了学车这条“不归路”。
先不说国内程序有多繁琐，考试有多严格，光是驾校的报名费就让我惊呆了，5千多一个人！补考还要收考试费！想当年我在美国学车的时候，笔试和路考前前后后加起来考了七次才过，而且还是最简单的自动挡，现在学的是手动挡，一不小心就死火，想想我就有点晕。比起中国的驾考制度，美国实在是太容易了，下面我就给大家具体讲讲美国考驾照都有哪些流程（美国各州规定不同，有些州可能跟我说的不一样，但是大体都差不多）。
美国驾考都是统一去当地的机动车驾驶管理局(DMV)考试的，不用预约，携带有效证件，先去参加笔试，笔试之前，他们会问你一系列的问题，比如说有没有癫痫啊，有没有吸毒啊，只要你都回答没有就可以去测视力了。视力也没问题就可以开始笔试了。美国的笔试跟中国差不多，也是考交规，常识什么的，但是美国，或者说我考试的地方，是40道题对30到就过了（夏威夷州是40道对35道就过）。不过偶尔也会出现一些奇葩的题目，比如说挡风玻璃斜度是多少啊，或者轮胎胎纹之间的间隔是多少啊等等。好了，考试进行到目前为止都是不收费的（夏威夷州收9美元）。
笔试结束后如果没过，那就隔三天再来考一次，如果过了，那么你有两个选择。第一，花20美金办一个临时驾照，有效期为一年，在这一年以内你可以开车，但是身边必须坐一个有驾照的人陪同，相当于中国的“实习期”。或者不花这20美金，直接拿一张通过笔试的证书，这张证书的有效期为30天，也就是说在这30天之内，你必须预约路考，否则过期作废，还要重考。
路考是分倒库和上路两部分的，而且他要求应考者开自己的车去，所以美国驾照不分手动或者自动，只是在驾照上标注视力，和车型大小之类的。倒库和路考是分开的，先说倒库，他给的空间是固定的，所以只要考试的时候开一辆小车去就没什么大问题。再说说上路，他的主要考点在于看到停车的标志，你会不会停稳，转弯时会不会看车内侧后方，开车的时候超不超速什么的，过十字会不会减速什么的……100分满分80分及格，如果出现特别危险的动作，比如说红灯没停稳，考官有权直接判你考试不及格。一般有三次补考机会，如果都没过那只能重新来了（补考是免费的）。
如果你通过了路考，那么恭喜你，你可以去办理正式的驾照了。留学生的驾照一般是根据他们签证的有效期来定的，签证到期了，驾照也就过期了。这一路考下来花费大概在40美金左右，折合人民币260人民币左右，而且当场就能拿到驾照。当然还有学车费，不像中国必须到驾校，在美国，更多的人是个人找司机自己练，价格自己谈，一般一小时20美金左右，练好了去路考就行。
说过了考试，我们再来说说美国驾照的一些规定。因为美国是车轮上的国家，所以他们规定16岁就可以考驾照，但是为了方便区分，所以21岁之前的驾照都是竖着的，21岁之后才能换成横过来的驾照。驾照上会包括身高，体重，发色，眼睛颜色还有过期时间等基本信息。
其实美国也有驾校，但是面对的客户大部分还是青少年，因为未成年人要求在通过笔试之后，要积累满一定的驾驶小时数才能考取正式驾照，而驾驶时旁边一定要有一位成年持有驾照的人陪同才行。至于我们这些留学生，一般都是到了年龄，然后借同学的车，让会开车的同学带着练练倒库，上路开几圈就去考试了。
中国和美国的驾考虽然差别很大，但是也各有各的优点，设置也都符合国情。中国人多，路况复杂，如果考试不严格，情况会更乱，而且每次考试参加人数众多，如果不收费也不现实。美国，特别是小城市，人少路况好，虽然不收费，但是工作人员也就那么几个，每次去美国车辆管理所，效率都慢的很，有时候甚至出现拍3、4个小时队的情况。
