Position Summary:
The Senior Market Risk Analyst is responsible for monitoring, managing and preventing market risk that arises through daily activities undertaken by the company. The senior market risk analyst will contribute positive input to firm’s market risk analysis methodology and manage margin analysis, stress testing and customer or product specific analysis. The senior market risk analyst will be required to manage market
risk team and support senior management in order to accomplish their core responsibilities.

Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform a number of detailed market and stress scenario analyses to assess market risk;
- Present and communicate the net liquidating value on clients’ account and potential risk scenario results to senior management on a regular basis;
- Generate risk report to a number of senior management risk committees;
- Work with risk team to enhance models for market risk analysis;
- Provide insight into 3rd party or in-house model functionality, capabilities, and limitations;
- Review or revise the risk procedure on regular basis;
- Produce presentation materiald targeted at varying types of audience


Experience & Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. Degrees in statistics, finance on risk management or related field
- 3 years’ work experience in risk management for FCM (Futures Commission Merchant) preferred
- Knowledge of options theory required
- Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge, programming a plus.
- Ability to work well within a diverse team
- Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities.
- Be self-directed and motivated.
