Job Description:
Provide assistance and support to higher level staff through database design, architecture, performance, standards, availability, system integrity and accessibility.
Serve as part of a project team to develop and document data models or to design, implement and support the physical database.
Maintain a strong business and technical awareness as it relates to corporate objectives both regionally and globally.
Consult with Senior Analysts Database Management on the proper use of the DBMS to ensure its integrity.
Assist business and application developers to define business entities, rules, relationship, attributes, elements, and other data modeling and data base objects.
Use DBMS related utilities to support and maintain databases. Review and optimizes application SQL code.
Maintain expert knowledge in required technology area across multiple platforms.
Provide exceptional 7 x 24 on-call support. The ability to work flexible hours as needed/required.
Good communication, interpersonal and professionalism skills who can work directly with applications/client users of all levels of staff and management.
Highly motivated and results oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidates must be available immediately
A Master’s degree with a major in S.T.E.M (Science, Technology, Electronics and Mathematics)
Applied knowledge of one DBMS
Strong English written and spoken communication skills
Must be able develop positive working relationships
Need to have good analytical and problem solving skills
Must have high level of motivation/self-starter work ability
Must work independently as well as collaborate in teams
